Things to come

So I am in my final year and will be graduating soon (yay!). On that note I am in advanced photo and will be using that class to work on what I hope will be my thesis project. I plan on expanding and exploring my mask project in the previous post and will be putting up research, pics, papers, and notes in order to keep everything straight and documented. Once again I am sorry for not posting sooner, just had a crazy summer and the camera did not get used as much as possible due to a lack of computer for a month or so. Anyway- keep coming back for more!

Masks

This was my final for Studio Lighting and the direction that I am considering going in for my thesis. I want to capture the romanticism and mystery that masks represent.

These were my first attempt at art with strobe lights. . . I think I am in love, lol!

I did these for my studio lighting class. The object was to work with glass on different backgrounds.

SPE Awsomeness

So I am terribly sorry for how long it has been since my last post. . . .I had to get ready for the SPE conference in Atlanta (absolutely amazing by the way!) and then catch up on some other stuff. These are some of my best images from the trip, including the trip to the train museum.

Constructed Image

This was for Dominic's digital class. . .super creepy, I know. I was referencing old degerotype family style portraits when they used to pose with recently dead family members. Enjoy!

Middle

Yet another mini project. I was stuck on this one so I went with what I knew. When I think middle, I think mid. . .and mids are a channel on a sound board .. . so yeah.
